Ideas for cover and end pages

Thinking about books that are intriguing / interesting and it's usually something that's packaged in a different way. I think it's important that that packaging for this book screams out traditional but not in a beige kind of way, more in a kitch kind of way. Nobody ever comments on how nice beige walls look.

To keep things bold I've been looking a wallpaper, textiles and general patterns but below is one of my favourites. Maybe the book comes in some sort of envelope?! The red gingham up at the top is also in the running....along with the neon green sign way down at the bottom of my blog.

Going to a cool shop I found called gardeners tomorrow....but I'll tell you about that tomorrow...
